Someone Else’s House…A Sun-filled Front Sitting Room…Pair of Chairs

As you enter the front door, beyond the front entry hall, this gorgeous sun-filled sitting room begs you to come in and stay.  As we started putting the pieces together in the construction of this room, the first piece I introduced you to was the sofa, which was the inspiration for the whole design.

Now let’s get a closer look at some of the other seating in this space. These two chairs my friend custom ordered…

in a yummy tomato red fabric she pulled from the color of the sofa fabric. The creamy white distressed wood finish and clean curved lines of the chairs lend them nicely to the cottage inspired design of the space, and visually connect it to the sofa.

If you didn’t hear the room beg you to come in, then her little dog ‘Benny’ for sure is! Look at him pose…what a little ham!

The pair of chairs casually flank each side of the sofa, placed graciously for conversation.

Next up in the ‘collage building’ of this room of “Someone Else’s House”, will be featured some historical components, and a salvaged piece brought back to life!
