Harman Pellet Stoves with a Fun Giveaway!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Harman Stoves for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last night I was running errands from the truck to the stores, then another, stop for dinner, then another store, and it was cold out! On top of the cold, I was tired,  I got to the point where I just couldn’t get warm, and all I could think of was how much I wished I was home in my cozy house, where I knew I would be warm.

Fortunately for us, we don’t have to be super careful with keeping the thermostat at a moderate temperature to conserve the LP gas usage… Why? Because we heat our entire house, all 4600 square feet of it, with a wood burner. And if we want to get extra toasty or enjoy the ambiance of a fire, we have a wood burning fireplace in our living room at ‘Our House‘ as well.

So obviously I’m a huge fan of wood burning heat sources. That’s one of the reasons I am thrilled to write about Harman Pellet Stoves.

But as I’ve mentioned a few times, we’re getting our house ready to go on the market and make the move into town. No outdoor wood burners in town… but wood burning fireplaces and pellet stoves are totally good. and that’s another reason I’m thrilled to write about Harman Pellet Stoves… because the house we will move in is an antique house, with an open antique fireplace.

Here take a look:

See? Pretty, but not at all an effecient way to heat your house! But… take a look at this Harman Pellet Stoves insert: click here to see my favorite Harman Pellet Stove insert!

Wouldn’t that be great in our new house? Or if you’re more of a fan of just good old wood burning fireplaces, click here to see a great wood burning fireplace inserts Harman offers!

(Additional great news! The federal tax credit on 75 percent efficient biomass heating appliances, which expired on Dec. 31, 2011, was reinstated on Jan. 2, 2013. The bill includes a “tax extender” for Internal Revenue Service Section 25C, which provides a tax credit for, among many other things, qualifying biomass-burning stoves! The extender provides a 10 percent tax credit of up to $300 on a qualifying biomass heating appliance purchased between Jan. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013!)

I’m super excited about the opportunities one of these Harman Pellet Stoves  will allow for us to be warm and cozy in our new house… (first we need to sell ‘Our House‘ tho) But when that time comes, this popular heating alternative will allow us to feel good about not burning so much gas, and be more self-sufficient with creating a warm, cozy home to enjoy.
